George Maharis (born September 1, 1928) is an American actor and singer best known for the role of Buz Murdock in the TV series Route 66. He received an Emmy nomination in 1962 for this role. Maharis also recorded numerous pop music albums. He passed away on May 24, 2023 at the age of 94.
