H.M. Deserters (C.K. Dezerterzy) is a 1986 Polish-Hungarian WWI comedy, directed by Janusz Majewski. It depicts the misadventures of a multinational quintet of Austro-Hungarian soldiers in 1918. A sequel was released in 1998.
The following weapons were used in the film H.M. Deserters (C.K. Dezerterzy):
Handguns
Mle 1892 Revolver
In the final scene, an officer (Edward Zentara) draws an Mle 1892 Revolver and fires into the air.
Steyr M1912
During the conflict between Lt. von Nogay (Wojciech Pokora) and Capt. Wagner (Zbigniew Zapasiewicz), the latter draws a Steyr M1912. A Steyr pistol is also used by the gendarme sergeant (Leon Niemczyk), whom Kania (Marek Kondrat) disarms.
Rifles
Karabiner 98k
Instead of period-correct Steyr Mannlicher M1895 rifles, Austro-Hungarian soldiers carry various Mausers, most of which are anachronistic Karabiner 98ks. Some of 98k rifles appear to be "Kriegsmodell" version.
Czech Mauser vz. 16/33
Some vz. 16/33 Czech Mauser carbines are also seen.
vz. 24 Czech Mauser
Some vz. 24 Czech Mauser rifles are also seen.
Unidentified Mauser Rifles
Machine Guns
Unidentified machine gun
In the final scene, the German squad has a pair of machine guns. They are seen very briefly and unclearly. Due to the shape of the mountings, they can be identified as either the Schwarzlose Machine Gun Model 07/12 or Maxim MG08.
