The History Channel - Battle For The Pacific is set in the Pacific Theater of World War II. The campaign ranges from Guadalcanal to the Philippines to Iwo Jima. It's the sequel to the 2006 The History Channel: Civil War - A Nation Divided and History Channel Civil War: Secret Missions
There is also a PS2/Wii versions by different developers with different weapons and levels.
The following weapons appear in the video game The History Channel: Battle for the Pacific:
Pistols
Colt M1911A1
The Colt M1911A1 is your main sidearm through the game and on some levels is equipped with a suppressor, but it is very hard to see that.
Wii Version
Nambu Type 14
Nambu Type 14 pistols are seen in Japanese officers' holsters, but they never use it in the 360/PS3/PC versions, however they do use them in the PS2/Wii version.
Submachine Guns
Thompson M1A1
The M1A1 Thompson is standard submachinegun of U.S Marine. This was the best weapon you could get at the time. Several U.S Marines also uses this gun.
Type 100
The 1944 model of the Type 100 submachine gun is used by the Japanese in the game. The gun is modeled with a straight magazine instead of an accurate curved one. It was first seen at Guadalcanal and used by the Japanese on many other levels.
Shotguns
Winchester M1897
The Winchester Model 1897 "Trench Gun" Shotgun is first given to you at Guadalcanal. It is a very powerful short-range weapon that will take out any enemy with a few shots.
Rifles
Arisaka Type 38/Type 99
The Arisaka Type 38 was the rifle used by the Japanese on many levels. It is a simple easy to use the rifle and surprisingly, you never see it with a bayonet. While called in the game a Type 38, it is modeled off of the Type 99, other than the receiver markings which is modeled off of a Type 38. For some reason, it is common for video games to call it by the wrong type of to take parts of one gun and put it onto the other.
M1 Garand
The M1 Garand is the weapon you start out with at Corregidor. This was the main rifle in the US Marine Corps.
M1903 Springfield
The M1903 Springfield is used as a sniper rifle on the Rescue mission to take out the Japanese snipers, but it is very hard to see that.
Machine Guns
M1918A2 Browning Automatic Rifle
The Browning Automatic Rifle can be also used by the player. Especially in the last missions like Iwo Jima.
Nambu Type 96
The Type 96 light machine gun is used by the Japanese as a portable and mounted weapon.
Grenades & Explosives
Mk 2 Hand Grenade
The Mk 2 hand grenade was the main grenade used by the U.S Marines, you can kill 1-6 Japanese soldiers with this grenade. You will use 20 grenades in the whole game.
M15 Anti-Tank Mine
Anachronistic and out-of-place M15 anti-tank mines must be disarmed at one point in the game.
Emplaced Weapons
Browning M1919A6
The Browning M1919A6 can be seen as a usable emplaced weapon.
Browning M2
The Browning M2 is mainly mounted on the patrol & PT boats and is mounted in several places on Corregidor. It can also be mounted in the Wake Island level.
Type 1 47mm Anti-Tank Gun
Several Type 1 47mm Anti-Tank Guns can be seen and destroyed through the campaign
Type 96 25 mm AT/AA Gun

Type 97 Aircraft Machine Gun
Japanese Mitsubishi A6M "Zero"s are armed with Type 97 Aircraft Machine Guns.
Type 99 Cannon
