Ambulance is a 2022 American action film directed and produced by Michael Bay. It is based on the 2005 Danish film of the same name by Laurits Munch-Petersen and Lars Andreas Pedersen. The film stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as William Sharp, a war veteran, who is forced to rob a LA Federal Bank with his adoptive brother Daniel (Jake Gyllenhaal) in order to pay for his wife's operation. During the robbery, the brothers steal an ambulance with EMT and an injured police officer they shot on board. The film's cast includes Eiza González, Keir O'Donnell, Jackson White, and Garret Dillahunt and was released in the United States on April 8, 2022
The following weapons were used in the film Ambulance:
Danny Sharp (Jake Gyllenhaal) has an Arsenal Firearms USA Stryk-B with Trijicon RMR red dot sight as a second weapon. He only uses it once, when LAPD Officer Zach reveals their deception in bank.
"Mel Gibson" (Devan Chandler Long) carries the Brügger & Thomet USW-A1 with extended magazine and flashlight before leaving the hideout. It is later used by Trent (Brendan Miller), running out of the bank building at the start of the shootout until he gets into an car accident.
All LAPD Officers, including Zach Parker (Jackson White) and Mark Ranshaw (Cedric Sanders), are armed with service Glock 17 pistols throughout the film. One of the robbers disarms Parker when he is taken hostage. By negligence, Mark puts his gun on a stretcher and at the end of the film, Zach finds him. FBI Agent Anson Clark (Keir O'Donnell) also carries the pistol in a shoulder holster. Cam Thompson (Eiza González) also shoots the pistol.
Both LAPD Special Investigation Section (SIS) officers Wade (Remi Adeleke) and Jay (Jamie McBride) have Kimber SIS Custom/RL pistols as secondary weapons. When the firefight starts, they put on their chest rigs and go into battle.
All LAPD Officers, including Zach Parker (Jackson White) and Mark Ranshaw (Cedric Sanders), have green Taser X26 pistols in holsters. Remarkably, none of them ever used it.
