Chief Jeff Talley ([[Bruce Willis]]) keeps a [[Kimber Custom TLE II]] .45 caliber handgun as his personal sidearm. He is seen with it tucked as a belly gun in the opening standoff and uses it to save his family at the end of the film. Clear shots can be seen showing Kimber's engraving on the gun. On the other side, a clear shot can be seen reading "LAPD SWAT CUSTOM", which makes sense as LAPD SWAT teams use Kimber Custom IIs, and Talley was a veteran of the LAPD SWAT. In addition to its accurate use in the film, the Kimber is shown firing an accurate eight rounds in the climax of the film.

Hostage is a 2005 action thriller film starring Bruce Willis as Jeff Talley, a former Los Angeles SWAT officer and hostage negotiator who moves to a quiet California town after failing in a hostage negotiation. The quiet town's peace is shattered when a criminal's home is taken hostage, which results in Talley's own family being taken hostage. Talley is forced to once again act as a hostage negotiator to save his family. The film, which was directed by Florent Siri, features remarkably accurate gun choices, handling and correct firearm capacity.
