Through the Mill is a 2017 French television movie directed by Gérard Mordillat. The worker Lucie Baud experienced hell on earth in the Duplan silk factory in the 1890s. She has been working in the company since she was twelve and, like the other women, is exploited and abused. When her husband dies, she is alone with two daughters. Nevertheless, Lucie campaigns for women's rights with creativity, fighting spirit and the power of singing.
The following weapons were used in the film Through the Mill:
Lebel Mle. 1886
French Army soldiers, guarding the factory, are armed with Lebel 1886 rifles.
MAS Mle. M1892
The French Seargent (Luc Chareyron) is seen with an Mle 1892 Revolver. Lucie Baud (Virginie Ledoyen) and Charles Auda (Philippe Torreton) can be seen at the end with another MAS revolver.
