What at first appear to be [[M16A2]] rifles with Colt 4x20 carry handle mounted scopes are used by tactical officers during the raid in "The Enemy Within" (S1E01). Upon closer inspection, these rifles are likely [[Colt M16A1]]s with A2-style handguards, meant to stand in for an authentic M16A2. A similar looking rifle is also seized by police in "Ice in the Veins" (S2E04).

Possibly an M16A1 with A2 style handguards. Putting the distinctive A2 handguards on the older rifle was a method used by Movie/TV armorers to simulate A2 rifles when M16A1s were the only ones available.
