Eldorado KaDeWe is a 2021 German miniseries on the German public broadcaster Das Erste directed by Julia von Heinz. The six-part drama deals with the famous Berlin Kaufhaus des Westens (KaDeWe) in the 1920s and tells the life of the four protagonists Hedi, Fritzi, Harry, and Georg, who work in the department store, which belongs to the father of Harry and Fritzi. While problems such as inflation shape the everyday lives of Berlin's citizens, social life flourishes at the same time. Berlin nightlife begins to define itself through emancipation and sexual openness. But political radicalization soon becomes noticeable.
The following weapons were used in the television series Eldorado KaDeWe:
Handguns
Smith & Wesson Victory Model
An anachronistic Smith & Wesson Victory Model revolver is the personal sidearm of Harry Jandorf (Joel Basman) which is used in Ep. 01 "Stadt der Frauen" and Ep. 06 "Das Ende der Schönheit". This revolver stands in for a more accurate Smith & Wesson Model 10.
Mauser C96
A robber is seen with a Mauser C96 in Ep. 01 "Stadt der Frauen".
Unknown Pistol
In Ep. 04 "Kalter Entzug", some modern Berlin Police officers can be seen with holstered pistols. These pistols could rather be SIG-Sauer P225s (P6) or Heckler & Koch VP9s (HK SFP9).
Other
Sawed-Off Double Barrel Shotgun
One of the robbers in Ep. 01 "Stadt der Frauen" has a Sawed-Off Double Barrel Shotgun.
Mauser Karabiner 98AZ
At the end of Ep. 06 "Das Ende der Schönheit", a picture is seen with two Berlin policemen with slung Mauser 98AZ Artillery Carbines.
