A new generation version of the MCX series was seen last year, and might be coming at some point. The upper resembles the MCX Rattler, though it comes with multiple barrel lengths, along with a [https://youtu.be/NHsBJ_HQGWc?t=167 new handguard]. Interestingly, there's a 7.62x39mm version displayed; this hasn't been commonly seen on the MCX series for a while. --[[User:Ultimate94ninja|Ultimate94ninja]] ([[User talk:Ultimate94ninja|talk]]) 13:28, 1 April 2022 (EDT) |

MCX upper on AR lower
Can an MCX upper be safely fired on a standard AR carbine lower without using the folding stock adapter? I.E., if I pulled the upper off my 6920 and put an MCX upper on, it won't explode or something on the first round? I was reading a thread on AR15.com about this "hybrid" combination where one user spoke against doing so without elaborating, but since the thread has been dead for two years, I doubt he's coming back to do so any time soon. New gerenation MCX possibly coming
A new generation version of the MCX series was seen last year, and might be coming at some point. These were displayed at DSEI 2021, as seen at the end of this post, as well as here. The upper resembles the MCX Rattler, though it comes with multiple barrel lengths, along with a new handguard. Interestingly, there's a 7.62x39mm version displayed; this hasn't been commonly seen on the MCX series for a while. --Ultimate94ninja (talk) 13:28, 1 April 2022 (EDT)
