Black '47 is a 2018 Irish Luxembourgish movie directed by Lance Daly. Ireland in 1847, during the Great Famine: to return to his family, Irish Ranger Feeney leaves his post in the British Army. Despite his shocking experiences during the war, he is horrified when he comes face to face with the destruction caused by the famine and the brutalization of his fellow men. Once home, he finds that there is nothing he can do for his family, as his mother has starved to death and his brother has been executed by the British. Feeney decides to take revenge and takes up the fight against the English occupiers. They in turn set the experienced English bounty hunter Hannah on him, with whom Feeney has a common war past.

A local rent collector owns a Flintlock Pistol during the unexpected meeting with Feeny.

Local Irish policemen are armed with Brown Bess Carbines.
Brown Bess
The Brown Bess Musket in percussion conversion is used by Private Hobson (Barry Keoghan) and Regular English infantrymen.
Baker Rifle
Baker Rifles are wielded by Hannah (Hugo Weaving) and Pope (Freddie Fox) which are like the Brown Bess muskets percussion conversion. A Flintlock Baker Rifle is seen with Feeny.
Other
Blunderbuss
One of the Irish citizens is seen with a Blunderbuss.
