HK169
Why is this here and not on the AG36 page where it should be? It has no mechanical relation to the HK69/79 at all, just a similar name. Spartan198 (talk) 04:19, 30 November 2015 (EST)
- I don't know if it is true, but apperently it is a modernised version of the HK69, it does say so on the page.--AnActualAK47 (talk) 07:58, 30 November 2015 (EST)
MZP 1 Name
On the British Armed Forces firearms page this GL is referred to as the MZP 1. Can anyone tell me what this name means? --JackalUnderscore (talk) 17:09, 17 September 2021 (EDT)
- Apparently, that's the designation for the police variant - means "Multipurpose Pistol 1" (in German, of course). Since the British Armed Forces page mentions theirs as being in 37mm, it'd make sense. Pyr0m4n14c (talk) 19:10, 17 September 2021 (EDT)
- I think that the L104A1 is listed as an MZP-1 as it is built from one, but it techncially isn't the same. The L104A1 is a special version of the MZP-1 chambered in 37mm that is only used by British military and police and has an L18A1/A2 red dot sight fitted in place of the rear irons. Not 100%, but I think that the only difference between the HK69A1 and MZP-1 is that the latter deleted the ladder sight and just has the direct fire sight with both versions being chambered in 40mm. --commando552 (talk) 20:22, 18 September 2021 (EDT)
