Nice, but where's the trigger? This article or section is incomplete. You can help IMFDB by expanding it. |
The following weapons were used in the film Short Circuit:
Handguns
SIG-Sauer P226
At one point, Duke (Marvin J. McIntyre) pulls a semi-automatic handgun which Number 5 (incorrectly) identifies as a "Colt .45 semiautomatic." The handgun appears to actually a SIG-Sauer, not a Colt. Number 5 pulls the gun from Duke's hand and proceeds to rip it apart, declaring it "Play-Doh!"
Colt Cobra
Duke (Marvin J. McIntyre), one of Skroeder's men, is seen pulling out a Colt Cobra from his ankle holster. This gun was apparently a replacement for the SIG-Sauer that was destroyed by Number 5.
Rifles
Winchester Model 70
Frank (Brian McNamara) arrives unexpectedly at the house of his ex-girlfriend Stephanie (Ally Sheedy) armed with a Winchester Model 70 bolt-action rifle mounted with a scope. He uses it various times to try and shoot Johnny 5, but each of his rounds are blocked by the robot.
M16 Rifle
M16 rifles are used by the Nova Robotics guards and the US Army soldiers hunting down Number 5.
AKM
AKM rifles were seen during the demonstration of the S.A.I.N.T. robots as the standard infantry rifle of the "dummy" Russian soldiers.
Machine Guns
M60 Machine Gun
At the climax of the film, a US Army soldier brought in to reinforce the Nova Robotics security force can be seen firing on Johnny 5 with an M60 machine gun.
Other
M203 Grenade Launcher
One of the Nova Robotics security guards can be briefly seen with an M203 grenade launcher mounted to his M16 rifle at the climax of the film.
