The following weapons were used in the movie Transformers:

File:Transformers.jpeg

M4A1 Carbine

There are several appearances throughout the early stages of the film of the M4A1 carbine, used by U.S. military personnel at the U.S. Special Operations Command Central (SOCCENT) base during Blackout's attack, as well as by Captain William Lennox (Josh Duhamel)'s special forces team. The M4A1's used by the special forces team are fitted with various SOPMOD accessories including ACOG scopes, AN/PEQ-2 IR designators (which are erroneously shown emitting a laser beam that can be seen by the naked eye instead of the real AN/PEQ-2's invisible Infra-Red laser), RIS foregrips, and camougflage paint schemes.

M203 Grenade Launcher

In addition to the accessories mentioned above, several M4A1's used by Lennox's team are equipped with M203 grenade launchers, most notably Air Force Technical Sergeant Bobby Epps (Tyrese Gibson).

Colt Model 933

Captain Lennox can be seen carrying a Colt Model 933 carbine as his weapon of choice in Qatar, distinguishable from the M4A1's carried by his men by the shorter 10.5" barrel. His weapon is fitted with an M68 Aimpoint red dot and AN/PVS-17 night vision scopes, a Surefire M900 weaponlight foregrip, custom "Vortex" style muzzle brake, and an AN/PEQ-2 IR designator (which inaccurately emits the same visible green laser as those on his mens' M4A1's).

M16A2 Rifle

There are two brief appearances of M16A2 rifles in the film, first in the hands of soldiers responding to Blackout's arrival at the SOCCENT base when he begins his attack, and later in the hands of soldiers guarding Air Force One as Frenzy sneaks off the plane.

Custom Mossberg 590

A heavily-customized Mossberg 590 (similar to that seen in Rambo) is seen in this film, as used by Agent Reggie Simmons (John Turturro) and Maggie Madsen (Rachael Taylor). It has a Magpul M93A rear stock attached to a Mesa Tactical M4 adapter block and a Mesa Tactical Top receiver Rail with an EOTech holographic Sight.

Milkor M32 MGL

There are several appearances throughout the film of the M32 MGL grenade launcher. It can first be seen as the alternate weapon of ACWO Jorge "Fig" Figueroa (Amaury Nolasco), carried in a custom scabbard on his back when not in use, and later on by other members of Captain Lennox's teams as well as Sector Seven personnel including Agent Simmons. The M32's seen on-screen appear in both standard black and desert tan finishes and are fitted with the factory Armson OEG reflex sights as well as at least one fitted with a C-More red dot sight. Captain Lennox's M32 is also shown mounting a laser target designator on the side of the barrel.

DefTech 37mm Launcher

In addition to the M32 MGL's, Sector Seven soldiers and some of Captain Lennox's men can also be seen using DefTech 37mm grenade launchers during the final battle, equipped with folding stocks.

Brügger & Thomet GL-06

Another weapon used by Sector Seven soldiers and Captain Lennox's team during the final battle are several heavily-modified Brügger & Thomet GL-06 grenade launchers, covered in Hollywood embellishments and fitted with an unknown red dot sight (appeares to be a Bushnell Halo Sight). Captain Lennox most notably uses one when he charges Blackout on a comandeered motorcycle, skidding underneath the Decepticon to get a clear shot at the robot's weakly-armored lower body.

SIG-Sauer P226

Secret Service agents onboard Air Force One can be seen using SIG-Sauer P226 pistols as their sidearms (a factual error: the Secret Service never used the P226, only the P228 and P229) This was also done in Air Force One. A cop at the police station (Rick Gomez) also brandishes a P226 while threatening Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) during his interrogation.

Heckler & Koch MP5K

The Heckler & Koch MP5K can be seen being used by Secret Service agents onboard Air Force One, as well as by a Sector Seven agent (Brian Stepanek) when meeting the Autobots, the latter being disarmed of his weapon by Jazz.

Heckler & Koch MP5A5

Sector Seven agents can be seen brandishing Heckler & Koch MP5A5's in their first meeting with the Autobots, but are promptly disarmed by Jazz. FBI agents can also be seen carrying them during the raid on Glen's home, fitted with Surefire dedicated forend weaponlights.

Heckler & Koch G36C

When the FBI storms Glen's home, several agents can be seen armed with Heckler & Koch G36C's fitted with tactical flashlights. Sector Seven soldiers can also be seen carrying G36C's, as well as one of Captain Lennox's men during the standoff at Sector Seven HQ.

Browning M2HB Heavy Machine Gun

Several Browning M2HB heavy machine guns were seen mounted on the roofs of US military Humvees in Qatar when Blackout attacked the SOCCENT base. The Decepticon Brawl can also be seen with a pair of M2HB's atop the turret of his tank form.

Trivia special: Brawl

Brawl's tank form is an extremely large prop rather than a real tank, and was originally built for the movie XXX 2: State of the Union; it was modified for Transformers to carry a replica of the "Venus Fly Trap" MCBS [minus the two forks and "dog bone" magnetic mine detonator] and a pair of quad missile launch tubes on the secondary turret. The hull is a modified truck chassis with the rear shortened and the radiator cut off, using a Freightliner diesel engine and rubber band tracks taken from a construction vehicle; it is noticably too light for a real Abrams, as can be seen from how high it rides up as it runs over a car in Mission City. In addition, extras in the Mission City sequence don't seem to have been advised that they should be avoiding a 40-foot area surrounding the tank's turbine exhaust; some are standing in positions where they'd be severely burned if the tank was real.

The main gun is secured using a non-functional travel lock that has a tendency to disappear and reappear between shots, most likely there to stop the top-heavy prop turret falling off the chassis during the car-crushing sequence, as it has no visible hinge to fold down and is not a component of either the Abrams or the Leopard 2, the two tanks the prop is based on. Indeed, the turret visibly wobbles during this sequence. The main gun noticably doesn't recoil; barely at all in one shot of the muzzle, and not at all in another; by comparison, when the CGI version of the tank fires shortly afterwards the gun recoils as would be expected. strangely, when Brawl responds to Starscreams message, he gives his name as Devastator, who does not appear until the next movie.
