Browning M1917
Several men are seen luging this weapon around on their backs. This weapon has the tripod removed. Eugene Sledge is also seen carrying one.
Browning M2
This is one of the two weapons mounted on the LVT's.
Browning M1919
This is the other weapon that's mounted on the LVT's.
M1 Garand
Several Characters are seen using Garand rifles, one man uses it to shoot a Japanese before being stabbed.
Colt M1911A1
Eugene Sledge is seen using this weapon. --- This is James Badge Dale as Robert Leckie. Eugene Sledge was a US Marine who actually fought in World War II. The whole HBO series is based on his book: With the Old Breed: At Peleliu and Okinawa; Source: Wikipedia
M1 Carbine
Several of the characters are seen with this weapon including the three main guys: Eugene Sledge, John Basilone, and Robert Leckie.
