Lucifer is a television crime procedural fantasy that stars Tom Ellis as the title character, who decides to leave his kingdom in Hell in order to live a more exciting life assisting the police in Los Angeles by using his powers to expose criminals in the city. The series premiered in the US on FOX in early 2016 and aired for three seasons until 2018, where it was then picked up for a fourth season by the streaming service Netflix. A sixth and final season will premiere on the streaming service in the near future.

The series cast includes Lauren German, Kevin Alejandro and D.B. Woodside.
