Some Maxims seem to be not MG08 but rather Russian M1910 on MG08 mountings, judging by the muzzle booster. : Thank you for this information, so, what do you think which of the current images contain the M1910? I would say the last two. I will also upload some more images in the next few days. And one more thing, is there also any information for the MG08/15 in this forum? Because this thing looks a bit strange compared to the gun image--HighPhigh (talk) 09:26, 19 January 2021 (EST)

::Two last, yes, and if my poor eyesight doesn't deceive me, the first one also has M1910 muzzle booster. Sorry, the Maxim was the only point of discussion on this film was on forum.guns.ru. But there is a somewhat similar machine gun in Rodnye berega. Only the barrel with bipod is seen in this film, but what is seen, looks similar to the supposed MG08/15 in Ernst Thälmann. I couldn't find any version of MG08 with such position of the bipod so the MG in Rodnye berega was identified very random. --Greg-Z (talk) 09:48, 19 January 2021 (EST)

Some Maxims seem to be not MG08 but rather Russian M1910 on MG08 mountings, judging by the muzzle booster. This screenshot shows the M1910 muzzle booster quite well. --Greg-Z (talk) 08:03, 19 January 2021 (EST)
