Steyr MPi 69

Nerv's security guards use the Steyr MPi 69 as their standard main weapon. As Aoba states, Nerv HQ's entire defense plan was designed around fighting giant "Angel" monsters, not invading armies. They have trouble even dealing with terrorist threats. When JSSDF commandos invades with RPG's, Flamethrowers, and HK G11's (not to mention supporting artillery battalions and attack helicopters), these Steyr MPi 69's are the best that Nerv personnel can respond with.
