The following guns were shown in the anime franchise Neon Genesis Evangelion, including the original 26 episode series, the finale movie End of Evangelion and the remake Rebuild of Evangelion tetralogy of films.
Evangelion weapons
The giant Evangelion robots use a variety of weapons, several of them purely science fiction "Positron rifles", etc. However, several of their weapons are clearly based on real-life firearms...which have been built on a larger scale so that 40 meter tall humanoid robots can wield them.
Steyr ACR
The standard-issue ranged weapon of the Evangelions. In the original series it was officially referred to as a "Pallet Rifle" (for unknown reasons), but the Rebuild of Evangelion remake simplified this to simply calling it "Assault Rifle". Nonetheless it is clearly based on an upscaled design of the Steyr ACR. One is typically held with both hands for greater control, although Eva-02 dual-wields a pair of them in episode 19.
Desert Eagle
Wielded by Eva-01, this is clearly an upscaled design of the Desert Eagle. Only seen once in the entire series, when it is used in episode 16, though when it does appear it features fairly prominently. File:Evadeserteagle1.jpg File:Evadeserteagle2.jpg File:Evadeserteagle3.jpg
Accuracy International Arctic Warfare series sniper rifle (AWS variant?)
Eva-00 is a relatively unstable Prototype model, so it usually refrains from hand-to-hand combat or even medium-range combat, instead hanging back to provide support fire with a sniper rifle. Eva-00's sniper rifle appears to be an upscaled version of the Accuracy International Arctic Warfare series British sniper rifle series, possibly the AWS variant.
The rifle as Eva-00 uses it has two variations. In its first appearance in episode 16, it apparently has some form of a laser sight.
However, it is replaced with an optical sight by its second and final appearance in episode 23 (for whatever good this did, as the Angel rushed Eva-00 before it had time to react and it ended up firing the sniper rifle point-blank into the Angel).
episode 16, with laser sight episode 23, with optical sight
Real-life firearms
Browning Hi-Power
A JSSDF soldier puts a Browning Hi-Power to Shinji's head.
Heckler & Koch G11
Most of the JSSDF soldiers were seen using H&K G11s. You can see it clearly—but only for a brief second—when two soldiers shoot at Misato.
Walther PPK
Gendo uses a Walther PPK when confronted by Ritsuko.
Heckler & Kock USP
Misato carries and uses a H&K USP. She is also noted for using one throughout the television series too.
Flame Thrower
A JSSDF soldier used a flame thrower to flush-out and kill Nerv members.
RPG
One of the JSSDF soldiers uses an RPG while infiltrating Nerv headquarters.
