The '''''Valtro RO5''''' is an Italian pump-action shotgun. It was closely associated with the [[Fabarm SDASS]], but can be distinguished by different furniture with unique rectangular-shape forend. This model was also produced and sold by the Atis Armi S.P.A. as Atis R.G. 700. Valtro shotguns usually have an angular receiver like the original Fabarm, while Atis have an streamlined (which is where all the differences end). R.G. 700 were also exported by [[Franchi]] (in mid-80s), but this apparently did not last long. The Atis was also exported to South Africa as the Clarbex CX-12.

Atis R.G. 700 - 12 gauge

The Valtro RO5 is an Italian pump-action shotgun. It was closely associated with the Fabarm SDASS, but can be distinguished by different furniture with unique rectangular-shape forend. This model was also produced and sold by the Atis Armi S.P.A. as Atis R.G. 700. Valtro shotguns usually have an angular receiver like the original Fabarm, while Atis have an streamlined (which is where all the differences end). R.G. 700 were also exported by Franchi (in mid-80s), but this apparently did not last long. The Atis was also exported to South Africa as the Clarbex CX-12.

The RO5 also has the better-known PM5 "brother", which is fed from detachable box magazines.

All shotguns of this type will be referred to this page to avoid confusion and to be distinguished from the original Fabarm shotguns.
