Grantchester is an ITV detective TV series, features Anglican vicar Sidney Chambers (James Norton) and subsequently (Season 4 and the following) his successor Will Davenport (Tom Brittney), in the 1950s village of Grantchester, Cambridgeshire. Chambers and Davenport investigate crimes that happen in the village, co-operating with Detective Inspector Geordie Keating (Robson Green). The series is based on the characters by James Runcie (only Season 1 is adapted from original Runcie's short stories).
