Stray Dog (野良犬 Nora Inu) is a 1949 Japanese film, directed by Akira Kurosawa.

Detective Murakami (Toshirô Mifune) and Yusa (Isao Kimura) are armed with a Colt Model 1908 Vest Pocket. The theft of Detective Murakami's Colt is the catalyst that sets the events of the film in motion.
