The assault troops and state-prosecutor von Wenk (Bernhard Goetzke) are using fake hand grenades in an attempt to break the door of the house. Note:real explosions are seen,but they were caused by other grenades.
No. 15 Hand Grenade "Ball"
During the storm, real explosions tear down the door of the house. At a closer look, some rounded grenades are seen. They were, most probably, british No. 15 Hand Grenade "Ball"'s as they had fuses, and a similar shape.
Hidden Bomb
Pesch(Georg John) and Spoerri(Robert Forster Larinaga) are seen hiding a bomb inside a toolbox.
TRIVIA:In order to detonate the bomb, Pesch throws the toolbox inside a room(hitting it hardly against the floor).
