The following weapons appear in the film Moonraker:
Special note: Moonraker is the only 007 film that does not feature Bond brandishing either of his trademark Walther handguns (PPK or P99), although he is shown with the PPK in his hand on the DVD cover (right).
Smith & Wesson Model 38 Bodyguard
At the start of the film, a woman Bond is with aboard a plane pulls a Smith & Wesson Model 38 Bodyguard revolver on him, handing it off to a pilot entering the cabin from the cockpit. The man then uses it to shoot out the controls before he and the woman bail out, planning to leave Bond to crash in the out-of-control aircraft.
Holland & Holland Royal
While visiting the Drax residence in California, James Bond (Roger Moore) engages in pheasant hunting with Hugo Drax (Michael Lonsdale), both men using Holland & Holland Royal double-barreled shotguns. Bond nonchalantly uses his to take out a sniper hiding in a nearby tree.
unidentified bolt-action rifle
The assassin whom Drax sends into a tree to kill Bond while pheasant hunting has a bolt-action rifle and scope.
MP40
In Venice, the gangsters chasing Bond through the canals use MP40 submachine guns. When Bond escapes overland on his gondola, one of the thugs drops his MP40 into the water just before he himself falls in.
MAC-10
During the speedboat chase in Brazil, Jaws (Richard Kiel) and one of his henchmen carry MAC-10s. Jaws's MAC-10 has an elongated barrel.
M16A1
Drax's guards at the Moonraker launch base in Brazil carry M16A1 assault rifles with 20-round magazines. A Marine can also briefly be seen with one at a U.S. base.
Moonraker Laser
The Moonraker Laser is a custom prop weapon designed for the film. It appears to be a plastic and resin mock up built out of the plastic toy ** IMI Uzi submachine gun that was commonly available at the time, with some fancy modifications on it. The crew of Drax's space station are also armed with smaller laser pistols (which seem to resemble hairdryers...). It later made an appearance in the video game adaptation of Goldeneye.
** The toy Uzi used as the basis for the Moonraker Laser was also used in quite a few Sci-fi & 'action' B movies during the late 1970s and early 1980s.
