The following guns were used in the movie Nighthawks

M1911 pistol series

Both Sylvester Stallone and Billy Dee Williams use full-size 1911 pistols

Remington 870

Sylvester Stallone uses a Remington 870 with foldable buttstock to make a high-risk arrest

Billy Dee Williams carries another pump shotgun. It seems to be also a Remington, with a regular buttstock, but is is never seen well, so it’s hard to be sure.

Walther P38

Used by Rutger Hauer

MAC-10

It is used both by Rutger Hauer and Persis Khambatta

Rutger Hauer keeps 2 of these guns in a suitcase (and several boxes of Remington and Winchester ammo)

Bolt action rifle

A police sniper uses an unidentified bolt action rifle. It can be seen clearly that it is being loaded with blanks

unidentified revolver

We can see Stallone shooting a nickel-plated or stainless 4” barreled revolver in an indoor range. It looks like a S&W N-frame (model 29?)

double barrel shotgun

Rutger Hauer keeps a double-barreled shotgun in another suitcase, along with several hand grenades

Smith and Wesson model 39?

In a very brief scene, we see Persis Khambatta holding an auto pistol. It looks like a S&W model 39 or 59, but it is impossible to be sure.

Also, when Nigel Davenport is giving a lecture to NYPD officers, we can see a poster behind him that shows a S&W 39, a S&W 59, several revolvers (they look like Colt and S&W), and what seems to be a Star model S.
