The Death Ray (Луч смерти; Luch smerti) is a Soviet 1925 B&W science fiction movie directed by Lev Kuleshov and Vsevolod Pudovkin. The Soviet inventor Podobed creates the "death ray", the powerful weapon capable of making explosions at distance. The invention is stolen by the agent of unnamed unfriendly state. There the "death ray" is used against labor strikes, but the revolted workers manage to seize the device and destroy military aviation sent against them.
Note: The original film is a severely damaged, so, restored, but watermarked version is used.
The following weapons were used in the film The Death Ray (Luch smerti):

Mauser C96 "Broomhandle"
Several Fascists, including Father Revo (Vsevolod Pudovkin), use Mauser C96 "Broomhandle" pistols. Father Revo gives it to Female shooter (Aleksandra Khokhlova), but she immediately gives it back. Only a single pistol can be seen at a time, so, it's most likely a single movie prop.
One Provocateur draws an unknown revolver at the film climax.
