The following weapons were used in the film The Shakiest Gun in the West:
Remington 1875
Olive (Ruth McDevitt) and Jesse W. Heywood (Don Knotts) carry the Remington 1875. The movie is set in 1870, hence it is an anachronism.
Single Action Army
Penelope Cushings (Barbara Rhoades) and Arnold the Kid (Robert Yuro) use Single Action Army "Quick Draw" model revolvers. The Single Action Army revolver was produced beginning in 1873, hence it is also an anachronism, as are all of the firearms in this movie.
Jesse, Basch (Jackie Coogan), Pop McGovern (Dub Taylor), a stranger at the train station, a stagecoach passenger, and townspeople use Single Action Army "Artillery" model revolvers.
Winchester Model 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine
Jesse, Penelope, Mr. Remington (Frank McGrath) Basch, Rev. Zachary Gant (Don 'Red' Barry), and Native Americans use the Winchester Model 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine.
Winchester Model 1894
Penelope uses a Winchester Model 1894 in one scene.
