The following guns were seen in the French Connection II:
Smith & Wesson Model 36
In The French Connection, Detective Jimmy 'Popeye' Doyle (Gene Hackman) used a Colt Detective Special, but in this sequel, he carries a S&W Model 36.
Browning Hi-Power
Detective Barthélémy (Bernard Fresson) and other French police officers use Browning Hi-Power pistols, with tangent rear sights. The Hi-Power is seen commandeered by Detective Jimmy 'Popeye' Doyle (Gene Hackman) during the final shootout of the film when one of the detectives gets shot.
MAT-49
This French submachine gun is used by Alain Charnier's (Fernando Rey) thugs in the movie.
Gevarm Type D4
Used by Alain Charnier's (Fernando Rey) thugs.
Walther PPK
When Jimmy 'Popeye' Doyle (Gene Hackman) is captured by Alain Charnier's (Fernando Rey) thugs, a police officer tailing Doyle tries to pull out a Walther PPK to fire at the thugs before he is run over.
Colt revolver
One of the French police officers carries a Colt revolver, that looks like a Police Positive Special, although we never seen it close enough to be totally sure.
