The Manufrance Rapid is a French pump action shotgun, produced by Manufacture Française d'Armes et Cycles de Saint-Etienne (Manufrance). Its desighn based on the Remington 870, with an aluminum receiver. It was produced from 1958 to at least until 1980 (information on the end of production is differ). In the USA it was sold during the 1970s as "La Salle Riot Gun" and later sold imported by F.I.E. Its other famous names in the American market were Stoeger N° 7, H&R 440, Marlin Premier, Kodiak #458.
The semi-auto variant of Manufrance Rapid, designated as Manufrance Perfex, where also produced from 1961 (with many interchangeable parts with Rapid).
