Act of Valor is a 2012 war film directed by Mike McCoy that focuses on a team of U.S. Navy SEALs who embark on a covert mission to rescue a CIA agent and foil a terrorist plot. The film was made in collaboration with the United States Navy and all of the SEALs that appear in the film were active-duty members. The production has noted that numerous scenes involved live fire conditions, as they were filmed during the SEALs' training exercises.
The following weapons were used in the film Act of Valor:
Mexican Special Forces operators, specifically Commander Pedros (Gonzalo Menendez), carry the Heckler & Koch MP5A4 during the raid on the cartel's tunnel system.

DPMS TAC20
During the rescue mission in Costa Rica, Weimy is seen firing a scoped and suppressed DPMS TAC20. The rifle also has a camo paint scheme and camouflage material to conceal Weimy as well as a Parker & Hale bipod.
Weimy is briefly seen behind what appears to be an Knight's Armament M110 SASS on the Seahawk during the trip to Mexicali. After this, the rifle is never seen again.
M240G machine guns can be seen in deck mounts on the SWCC's SOC-R (Special Operations Craft - Riverine), as well as on the SWCC's Mark V Special Operations Craft, fitted with the M145 Machine Gun Optic. M240D variants with spade grips are also mounted on Navy Seahawk helos.
Special Warfare Combatant Craft (SWCC) Crewmen aboard a SOC-R boat fire a GAU-17/A Minigun (which would be referred to as a Mk 44 in SOCOM service) during an assault. According to the filmmakers, the miniguns were firing live ammunition throughout several of these scenes.
