Godless is a 2017 Netflix original miniseries Western that was created by Scott Frank, the screenwriter of such films as Get Shorty (1995) and 2017's Logan and the writer/director of A Walk Among the Tombstones. Set in the New Mexico territory in the 1880s, Godless tells the story of a ruthless outlaw who will stop at nothing to find and kill a member of his gang who betrayed and injured him during a heist, which leads him to a town populated almost entirely by women in the wake of a mining disaster. The miniseries stars Jack O'Connell, Michelle Dockery, and Jeff Daniels. This miniseries also is notable for its very accurate depiction and dialogue regarding firearms of the Old West, as well as including many period firearms besides the Colt Single Action Army. All 7 episodes were released on Netflix on November 22, 2017.

Revolvers
Single Action Army
As with most westerns, the Colt Single Action Army revolver appears in the hands of many characters throughout the series. Whitney Winn (Thomas Brodie-Sangster) notably carries two nickel Artillery models with ivory handles, keeping them in two gun belts worn over one another, and drawing and spinning them quite often. Mary Agnes McNue (Merritt Wever) also carries an Artillery model Colt, hers being blued.
Colt 1849 Pocket
A Colt 1849 Pocket is seen wielded in" Shot the Head off a Snake" (S1E05) during a flashback. The revolver also is seen in "Homecoming" (S1E07).
Colt 1871-72 Open Top
In "Shot the Head off a Snake" (S1E05), a flashback shows Roy being given a Colt 1871-72 Open Top Revolver by Frank to use. Roy Goode (Jack O'Connell) later uses this revolver in "Homecoming" (S1E07).
British Bulldog
What appears to be a British Bulldog revolver is seen used in "Homecoming" (S1E07).
Remington Model 1875
Outlaw Frank Griffen (Jeff Daniels) carries a Remington 1875 revolver throughout the series, using to both kill and threaten many people.

Rifles/Carbines
Henry 1860
Alice Fletcher (Michelle Dockery) carries an iron-framed Henry 1860 throughout the series, wielding it many times at visitors approaching her ranch, and using it to great affect in the final shootout. It is also seen being held by her son Truckee (Samuel Marty). It is notable that both Alice and Truckee demonstrate the proper technique when holding the Henry rifle: gripping it by the front of the receiver, not the magazine tube. This is done since the gun has no handguard and magazine tube is open along the bottom, and the spring can pinch the shooter's fingers when firing multiple rounds. Alice also often wears a heavy glove on her left hand to prevent burning her hand on the barrel when firing.
