The MKEK MPT rifle is a rifle made by the Turkish firm MKEK to replace the Heckler & Koch G3 battle rifle made under license from the same company, in the Turkish Armed Forces. A 5,56x45mm NATO variant called MPT-55 is in prototype stages.
