Central Police Strategic Firearms Command officers, including Sergeant Jane Cafferty (Sian Reese-Williams) and Sergeant Kyle Ferringham (Richard Pepple) carry the Glock 17 as their sidearm. Detective Sergeant Steve Arnott (Martin Compston) and Detective Inspector Kate Fleming (Vicky McClure) are also seen armed with Glock 17s.
Authorised Firearms Officers from Central Police Strategic Firearms Command are seen carrying the Heckler & Koch MP5A5 whilst guarding Sergeant Cafferty. John's gang are also seen armed with MP5A5s in S05E02 and obtain more from a stolen cache of confiscated weapons in the same episode.
