Truman is a 1995 HBO Biographical Movie directed by Frank Pierson about the 33rd President of the United States. Farmer Harry S. Truman returns home after the First World War. For the war hero starts a difficult time and he loses all his possessions. With the cooperation of Democratic Senate candidate Pendergast, he gets to know the structures of power. Sponsored by Pendergast, Truman becomes a senator himself. And after the death of Roosevelt in 1945, he becomes President unexpectedly.
