Hell of the Living Dead (Italian: Virus - l'inferno dei morti viventi) is a 1980 Italian-Spanish low-budget horror film, inspiried by Dawn of the Dead, and directed by Bruno Mattei.
The following weapons were used in the film Hell of the Living Dead:
Handguns
Smith & Wesson Model 19 Snub Nose
A Smith & Wesson Model 19 Snub Nose is used by a policeman during the US consul crisis.
Star Model Super B
A Star Model Super B is used by one ecologist.
Smith & Wesson Model 10
The Smith & Wesson Model 10 can be seen in the hands of Lia Rousseau (Margie Newton).
Single Action Army-style revolver
A Single Action Army-style revolver is used by commandos. It has missing ejector rod, and it apparently is some cheap copy, like the Röhm RG-66.
Arminius HW-1G
The Arminius HW-1G also is used.
Submachine Gun
Thompson Submachine Gun (Fake)
A mocked-up unidentified weapons to look like a M1A1 Thompson is used by members of the police and members of the ecologist group during US consul crisis. It's also used by the swat team during their new mission in New Guinea. It's depicted without or with a 1928 rear sight but never with a M1A1's. One model with a foregrip seems to be the trademark weapon of Zantoro, but due to continuity error, this weapon is wore by others members of the team. Judging by the short real magazines, they may have been built around the Mauser M712 Schnellfeuer or Astra machine pistols.
Rifles
CETME Model B
The CETME Model B is used by the SWAT team in the rescue of the US consul and in their mission in New Guinea.
Winchester Model 70
The ecologist leader (Tito Lucchetti) wore a bolt action rifle, presumably a pre-1964 Winchester Model 70.
Launcher
Federal 201Z Gas Riot Gun
A Federal Gas Riot Gun is seen in the hand of a policeman in New Guinea in a footage taken from La Vallée, a documentary on a tribe in New Guinea.
