A Cruel Romance (original title Zhestokiy romans) is a Soviet 1984 made for TV drama movie by Eldar Ryazanov. It is based on a classic Russian play Without a Dowry (1878).
The following weapons were used in the film A Cruel Romance:
Smith & Wesson New Model No.3
During the soiree Paratov (Nikita Mikhalkov) and Semenovsky (Aleksandr Pankratov-Chyornyy) compete in marksmanship, using Semenovsky's nickel plated Smith & Wesson New Model No.3 with pearl grips (supposedly a Spanish or Belgian copy). This revolver appears to be the same weapon that appears in several other Mosfilm productions, like Shvedskaya spichka, Semeynoe schastye, and Zemlya Sannikova.
Percussion Dueling Pistol
A Percussion Dueling Pistol is seen on the wall in Karandyshev's (Andrey Myagkov) apartments. Karandyshev calls it a Turkish pistol. In the final scene Karandyshev fires this gun.
Unidentified flintlock or caplock gun
A flintlock or caplock gun is seen on the wall in Karandyshev's apartments among with a caplock pistol and several cold arms.
