Tolkien is an upcoming 2019 movie directed by Dome Karukoski and stars Alexander Nicholas Hoult as the titular character. The movie shows the writer J. R. R. Tolkien, author of The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings and The Silmarillion, as a student and in other formative times in his life.
