Fedka is a Soviet B&W 1937 (filmed 1936) adventure movie directed by Nikolay Lebedev and based on the story by Doiwber Levin. During the Russian Civil war Fyodor (Fedka) Trofimov, orphaned kid whose father was killed by Whites, is adopted by Red cavalry unit. The movie became very popular and got fame as "Chapaev for kids".

Nagant M1895 revolvers are widely used by both Reds and Whites, notably Fedka Trofimov (Nikolay Kat-Oglu), Commissar Matvey Stepanovich (Ivan Savelyev) and gunner Vasiliy (Vasya) Sorokin (Aleksandr Zasorin). Revolvers are of pre-1930 model.
