Sweet Virginia is a 2017 American-Canadian neo-noir crime-drama thriller film directed by Jamie M. Dagg, written by Benjamin China and Paul China, and starring Jon Bernthal, Christopher Abbott, Imogen Poots, Rosemarie DeWitt, Odessa Young and Jared Abrahamson. It was released on November 17, 2017, by IFC Films
The following weapons are used in the movie Sweet Virginia:
Smith & Wesson Model 29
Elwood (Christopher Abbott) uses what appears to be a Smith & Wesson Model 29 as his weapon, He uses it at the beginning of the film and later in several occacions too, including near the climax of the film
Karabiner 98k
Sam Rossi (Jon Bernthal), has a Karabiner 98k on his wall, he explains that his father grabed it from a German soldier in WW2. he also uses it in a promotional image
VZ-33 Czech Mauser
Near the climax of the film Sam Rossi (Jon Bernthal) goes for his Karabiner 98k, but for some reason it changes to a VZ-33, the carbine version of the VZ-24 Czech Mauser, but its a little hard to tell since its dark.
