Shane is a 1953 Western starring Alan Ladd as the title character, a mysterious gunfighter who befriends a homesteader and his family and subsequently finds himself facing down a evil land baron and his band of gunslingers. The film would later be nominated for 7 Academy Awards, winning the award for Best Cinematography. Shane would later be referenced in later media as well including 1997's The Negotiator, the series Everybody Hates Chris as well as 2017's Logan.

Handguns
Single Action Army
Shane (Alan Ladd) carries a 7 1/2" Single Action Army Cavalry with a nickel finish and ivory grips as his sidearm in the film. Jack Wilson (Jack Palance) carries two Colt SAA's, and several characters use them as well.
Colt 1872 Open Top Revolver .44 Caliber
During a confrontation with Jack Wilson, Stonewall (Elisha Cook Jr.) pulls out a revolver that appears to be a Colt 1872 Open Top Revolver as his sidearm in the film.
Colt 1877 Double Action
Joe Starrett (Van Heflin) takes out an ivory handled Colt double-action when he's about to go after Ryker. The revolver Joe appears to be a Colt 1877 DA Lightning/Thunderer revolver.

Winchester Model 1873
Ryker's brother is seen walking upstairs to stay hidden and armed with a Winchester Model 1873.
Stevens Crackshot
Joey Starrett (Brandon De Wilde) carries a .22 rimfire Stevens Crackshot around to play with, but his father won't give him any rounds for it because he is too young. When Joey works the lever while Shane is there, he whips around, ready to draw his pistol before realizing the situation.
