Chato's Land is a 1972 co-production western movie directed by Michael Winner and starring Charles Bronson as Chato, half-breed Apache who killed the lockal lawman in self-defence and now is pursued by the posse lead by former Confederate officer Quincey Whitmore (Jack Palance). This is the first film out of six that Charles Bronson and Michael Winner made together.
Note: the movie was filmed in Spain so most if not all guns are probably Italian produced replicas.
The following weapons were used in the film Chato's Land:
In the opening scene Chato (Charles Bronson) and the lawman Eli Sanders (uncredited) both draw Colt 1851 Navy revolvers, and Chato is the quick one. All members of posse, except for Earl Hooker, also carry Colt Navy revolvers.
When Quincey Whitmore (Jack Palance) appears on Hooker's ranch, he is armed with what appears to be the Trapdoor Springfield Rifle. Later he, like others, carries the percussion cap carbine. The Trapdoor Springfield is also seen in hands of an Apache hunter.
