The following firearms can be seen in the film Badlands:
Top-Break revolver
Mr. Sargis (Warren Oates) takes a break-top revolver when he goes to shoot Holly's dog.
Smith & Wesson Model 10
Kit (Martin Sheen) carries a Smith & Wesson Model 10 during the film.
This is not a smith. It's an Arminius, or a High Standard Sentinel revolver. They were also sold to Sears, and Ace hardware I believe. Look a little closer at it.
Savage 99R
Kit (Martin Sheen) carries and uses a Savage 99R during most of the film, asking for .300 caliber ammunition towards the end.
Remington 870
Kit (Martin Sheen) fires a Remington 870 when the bounty hunters come looking for him and Holly.
Winchester Model 1894
Some of the bounty hunters can be seen carrying Winchester Model 1894 rifles.
unidentified bolt-action rifle
Some of the bounty hunters can be seen carrying bolt-action rifles.
Springfield M1903A3 Rifle
One of the policemen chasing Kit uses an Springfield M1903A3 Rifle . He tells Kit he fired a ".30-06" when Kit asks what kind of ammunition was being fired at him.
M16A1
The Montana National Guard carries M16 rifles (unloaded), which is an anachronism for a scene set in 1959.
