Jarhead 3: The Siege is a 2016 war action film that follows a group of US Marines assigned to protect the US Embassy in a Middle Eastern territory. When the US Embassy is about to be overrun by insurgents, the Marines attempt to find a way to escape with the surviving embassy officers. Like 2014's Jarhead 2: Field of Fire, this film is being marketed as a sequel to Jarhead. While not directly related to the original film, Jarhead 3's cast does include Dennis Haysbert, who portrays the character of Major Lincoln, the same name used for the character he portrayed in the original film.
The following weapons were used in the film Jarhead 3: The Siege:
Rifles/Carbines
Gilboa Rifle Series
Several of the rifles in the film that resemble the M4A1 and M16 appear to be hybrid firearms built in part from the "Gilboa" series of rifles manufactured by Silver Shadow, an authorized Israeli weapon manufacturer. The weapons are fitted with Israeli Meprolight MOR sights. These rifles and sights are not part of the arsenal of the US Marine Corps.
Gilboa "Commando"
The "Commando" model fitted with a Meprolight MOR sight is the weapon of choice for several of the Marines in the film.
Gilboa "Shorty"
A member of Regional Security uses the "Shorty" model while defending the embassy.
Heckler & Koch MR308
Gunnery Sergeant Pete Raines (Scott Adkins) uses what appears to be a scoped Heckler & Koch MR308 as a sniper weapon.
AK-47
Most of the insurgents appear to be armed with AK-47 rifles.
AKS-47
In addition to the AK-47 rifles, some enemy fighters can also be seen armed with folding-stock AKS-47 rifles.
AKMSU
Another weapon seen in the film is the AKMSU. The weapon is seen in the hands of both Khaled (Hadrian Howard) and Olivia Winston (Sasha Jackson).
SVD Dragunov
The SVD Dragunov is used by one of the insurgents.
Handguns
Beretta 92FS
The Beretta 92FS is wielded by US Marines including Evan Albright (Charlie Weber) as well as local military.
Glock 17
Regional Security officers carry Glock 17 pistols.
Stechkin APS
Khaled (Hadrian Howard) wields a Stechkin APS as his main sidearm.
Shotguns
Benelli M3 Super 90
A Benelli M3 Super 90 shotgun is primarily used by Stamper (Joe Corrigall).
Machine Guns
PKB
What appears to be a PKB machine gun is used by insurgents as well as Albright. These machine guns are mounted on insurgent "technicals".
Others
RPG-7
The RPG-7 launchers are used by insurgents.
