The Honey Badger was originally designed by Kevin Brittingham during his time in AAC, prior to its sale to Remington, but was never commercialized. It is now manufactured and sold by Brittingham's new company - Q. The weapon is available in both .300 AAC Blackout and 5.56mm.
The Honey Badger was originally designed by Kevin Brittingham during his time in AAC as a modern AR15 style alternative to the HK MP5SD. The weapon was designed in conjunction with  a new caliber - .300 AAC Blackout that can be fired effectively suppressed and unsuppressed from a very short barrel with better terminal results and improved sound signature than a 9mm round. AAC was then sold to Remington and the Honey Badger was never commercialized. Brittingham then resurrected the project at his new company - Q, which now manufacturer and sale the weapon. The Honey Badger is available in both .300 AAC Blackout and 5.56mm.
