Erma EMP 44 - 9x19mm Parabellum

The Erma EMP 44 (Erma Maschinenpistole) was a prototype open bolt submachine gun made by Erma Werke in 1942. The gun was primarily made of welded metal, and features a double magazine well that holds two MP40 magazines side by side. Pressing a button in front of the magazine well allows for the magazine well to be moved side to side, allowing for a quick magazine switch. This double-magazine design is also seen on the experimental MP40/I.
