The Boys of War (Los Chicos de la Guerra in spanish) is a dramatic Argentine film of 1984 directed by Bebe Kamin and starring Hector Alterio, Carlos Carella, Ulises Dumont, Marta Gonzalez, Tina Serrano, Miguel Angel Solá, Alfonso De Grazia and Gustavo Belatti. It is based on the book of the same name by Daniel Kon, which consists of a series of interviews with the young soldiers who fought in the Falklands War. The script was written mainly by Kon himself in collaboration with the director. It was shot in Buenos Aires and premiered on August 2, 1984. It was filmed in 16 mm and then enlarged to 35 mm.
