The following weapons can be seen in the film 16 Blocks:
Glock 17
The Glock 17 appears in the film as the standard sidearm of the New York City Police officers and appears frequently throughout the film. Some can also be seen equipped with tactical flashlights being used by N.Y.P.D. SWAT officers.
Ithaca 37
The Ithaca 37 shotgun appears being used by N.Y.P.D. SWAT officers during the hostage situation aboard the bus.
H&K MP5A3
The H&K MP5A3 appears in the film being used by N.Y.P.D. SWAT, most notably during the raid on the apartment at the beginning of the film, and during the hostage situation on the bus. As with most SWAT weapons, they are fitted with tactical flashlights in the foregrips.
M40 Sniper Rifle
During the hostage situation aboard the bus, N.Y.P.D. snipers can be seen with M40 sniper rifles. One is later used by a SWAT sniper at the courthouse to kill one of the corrupt cops as he's attempting to kill Detective Jack Mosley (Bruce Willis).
Beretta M92FS
While transporting Eddie Bunker (Mos Def) to the trial, Mosley and Eddie are attacked by assassins wielding silenced Beretta M92FS pistols.
Unknown Shotgun
During the encounter with Detective Frank Nugent (David Morse) at the bar, Mosley takes a double-barreled shotgun of unknown make and model with the stock and barrel sawed off from behind the bar and uses it to shoot one of the corrupt officers, then hold off the others while he and Eddie make their escape, dumping it in a trash can outside. When asked why he discarded the weapon, Mosley replied that it hadn't been fired in 20 years and that it was luck that it fired at all.
Unknown Revolver
After losing his Glock at the bar, Mosley returns to his home and retrieves an unknown revolver from his closet. He then uses it as a backup weapon throughout the film after taking another Glock from one of the corrupt cops persuing him. Eddie uses it briefly when he sneaks up on Nugent from behind, holding him at gunpoint with it while Mosley handcuffs him.
Walther PPK
When persuing Mosley and Bunker through Chinatown, Nugent pulls a Walther PPK from a hidden ankle holster, firing both it and his Glock 17 akimbo when he busts into the room where the two are holed up when they make their escape in the elevator.
