District B13 (original title Banlieue 13) is a 2004 French action film directed by Pierre Morel. The film is set in a near future where a poor suburb of Paris known as District B13 has been walled off from the rest of the city. The plot revolves around an undercover police officer who has been assigned to locate a stolen bomb that has been hidden in the district. Known for its parkour scenes, the film would spawn a direct sequel: District 13: Ultimatum as well as Brick Mansions, a 2014 American remake that starred Paul Walker and original District B13 star David Belle.
The following weapons were used in the film District B13:
Seen during the fight in the gambling den, one of Montoya's men fires a full-auto pistol that strongly resembles the pistol used in Underworld: Evolution. Most likely a heavily modified Beretta 92FS with a custom extended front end, though this is an educated guess based on general shape and usage in other movies.
Beretta 92FS Inox
Yoyo (Tarik Boucekhine) uses a Beretta 92FS Inox with an SGS compensator attached to the end.
Glock 17
Samy (Lyès Salem) uses a Glock 17 along with a Taurus PT908.
Glock 18
Captain Damien Tomaso (Cyril Raffaelli) uses a pair of Glock 18s fitted with compensators and 33 round magazines to destroy Montoya's prized automobile.
Along with his Baby Eagle 9mm, Taha (Bibi Naceri) also keeps a Ruger KP94 handgun (a stainless steel model of the Ruger P94 fitted with a decocker) fitted with a small laser pointer right in front of the trigger guard as one of his personal pistols. It's later taken by Leito (David Belle) and used to hold Taha hostage.
SIG-Sauer P220
Captain Damien Tomaso (Cyril Raffaelli) grabs a pair of SIG pistols during a fight. The full size and large aperture of the barrel would indicate a big caliber like a .45 ACP, so the assumption is that they are P220s.
SIG-Sauer P225
What appears to be a SIG-Sauer P225 is taken from the French National police and carried by Leïto (David Belle).
Taurus PT92AFS
Used by the horrifying Carlos Montoya (Marc Andréoni), a Taurus PT92AFS, identifiable by the frame mounted safety/decocker. Tomaso (Cyril Raffaelli) later takes the pistol from him and uses it to pistol-whip him.
Two of K2's henchmen are armed with Remington 870 Express shotguns: one fitted with a nickel plated finish and a sawed off version fitted with a muzzle brake. One of Leito's guards has a sawn off version fitted with a taped foregrip and ribbed barrel.
One of Taha's henchmen holds a AKS-74U style of weapon with a 5.56 waffle pattern magazine with an underfolding stock. It is most likely the Bulgarian Arsenal AR-SF since this SBR is available through mainstream channels of commerce in France. The rifle is available in 7.62x39mm and in 5.56x45mm NATO. The Bulgarian flash hider has been replaced with the classic Krinkov Flash hider/muzzle brake for the film.
Colt Model 733
Actually a "733 looking gun". Being a French film and the fact that French Armorers always do strange things with their guns, we see what looks like a Colt Model 733 short barreled assault rifle. However the barrel looks a little too long to be the 11" for the real 733 and too short to be the 14" for the 653, so it seems to be an intermediate length barrel (which means it's a custom barrel job from a real M16 carbine). It is seen briefly when Taha's men storm out of the building.
Seen in the gang headquarters scene, a gang member wields a stainless Ruger AC556 with a shortened barrel in a black synthetic stock.
Ruger Mini-14
Some of Taha's henchmen can be seen holding standard full sized Ruger Mini-14 rifles in factory configuration.
SIG SG 551
Some of Taha's henchmen are armed with SIG SG 551 assault rifles. Some of them also have 40mm grenade launchers under their rifles as well.
SIG SG 552
Steyr AUG w /14" barrel
Used by a henchmen.
Rifles
FAMAS F1
The FAMAS F1 is used by the French National Police.
FN FNC
Galil ARM
Galil 7.62 ARM
Heckler & Koch HK91
Besides their FAMAS assault rifles, the French National Police also use Heckler & Koch HK91 battle rifles fitted with wide "tropical" forearms.
M16A2
Seen in the gangs weapons warehouse.
Norinco Type 56
One of Taha's Guards is armed with a full stock Norinco Type 56.
SIG SG 540
Steyr AUG
Used by Taha's guard to the elevator.
Unknown Police Sniper Rifle
Since the only angle of this weapon is down the barrel it's hard to tell. It looks to be a .308 with a heavy barrel weight/muzzle brake mounted at the end. Possibly an FR F2.
Machine Guns
M240B
M240Bs are used at gangland checkpoints and are also mounted on pickup trucks during a chase through the city. Being Europe these are most likely FN MAGs outfitted to look like M240B Machine guns (which have features that were requested by the U.S. Military).
Quad AAA Gun
Some sort of Quad Barreled Anti Aircraft Artillery gun is seen at the gang's headquarters.
Grenade Launchers
DefTech 37mm Launcher
A French police officer carries a Deftech 37mm Tear Gas Launcher with top folding stock.
SIG GL 5040 grenade launcher
The standard 40mm Grenade Launchers for the SIG series of Assault rifle are the GL 5040 launchers, built by Swiss Arms. These are seen attached to SIG SG551s throughout the film.
