The Equalizer 2 is the 2018 sequel to 2014's feature film adaptation of the 1980's television series of the same name. Denzel Washington returns (in his first sequel) as former covert operative Robert McCall, who finds himself reunited with some of his old associates when one of his former bosses is brutally attacked. Antoine Fuqua returns as director, marking the latest of four collaborations with Washington, which also includes Training Day (2001) and The Magnificent Seven (2016).
