The following weapons were used in the film Sleepers:
Colt Detective Special
In a flashback explaining King Benny's (Vittorio Gassman) notoriety, young King Benny (Sean Patrick Reilly) uses a Colt Detective Special to shoot the "man in tub" (Mick O'Rourke). In 1967, an old man draws a nickel Detective Special to fend off two criminals trying to steal from young Lorenzo 'Shakes' Carcaterra (Joseph Perrino).
Walther PPK/S
Tommy Marcano's (Billy Crudup) keeps a Walther PPK/S as his sidearm in 1981. Highlight for Spoilers: He uses it, along with John Reilly, to gun down his former prison guard Sean Nokes (Kevin Bacon) in a public restaurant. .
Browning BDA 380
In 1981, John Reilly's (Ron Eldard) sidearm is a Browning BDA 380. It appears that both Reilly and Marcano prefer .380 ACP handguns.
Unidentified Handguns
Several handguns are used by Little Ceaser's (Wendell Pierce) thugs, but they are too far away to be identified.
