The following weapons were used in Season 1 of the television series The Shield:
Pistols
Smith & Wesson 4506-1
Detective Vic Mackey (Michael Chiklis) carries a Smith & Wesson 4506-1 .45ACP pistol as his sidearm throughout the series.
Beretta 8000 Cougar F
The Beretta 8045 Cougar F pistol is the main service pistol carried by Detective Ronnie Gardocki (David Rees Snell) and Detective Shane Vendrell (Walton Goggins) as well as Captain David Aceveda (Benito Martinez).
Beretta 92FS
The Beretta 92FS is the main service pistol for many police officers in the show, including Detective Curtis Lemansky (Kenneth Johnson), Sgt. Danni Sofer (Catherine Dent), and Officer Julien Lowe (Michael Jace).
Glock 19
The Glock 19 is carried by several detectives, including Det. Wyms (CCH Pounder). The Glock also is carried by Asst. Chief Ben Gilroy (John Diehl).
SIG-Sauer P226 (Nickel)
In "Pilot" (S1E01), Mackey is seen taking what appears to be a nickel SIG-Sauer P226 off a suspect. In "The Spread" (S1E03), Vic takes a nickel SIG off a basketball player caught up in a raid.
SIG-Sauer P226 (Non Gun)
In "Pilot" (S1E01), Mackey is seen firing the stainless SIG, the pistol appears to be a Non Gun.
Jericho 941 Compact
A teenager is seen carrying a Jericho 941 Compact when Vic and Shane arrest him in Season 1's finale "Circles" (S1E13). Vic later holds the pistol on the teenager.

Smith & Wesson Model 642
In "Pilot" (S1E01), Officer Danni Sofer is seen putting what appears to be a Smith & Wesson Model 642 in her purse before going on a date.

Mossberg 500 Cruiser
The Mossberg 500 Cruiser is used throughout the series, usually by Det. Curtis "Lemonhead" Lemansky (Kenneth Johnson).
